Waqf is a practice that provides lasting benefits to Muslims, even after a person passes away. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“ When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for him.”

(Hadith narrated by Muslim, Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi)

Through waqf, a person can contribute to community development such as providing places of worship, education, or public facilities. Every benefit derived from the waqf becomes a continuous reward for the waqf giver, along with the benefits received by others.

This practice not only has a positive impact on the recipient but also ensures that the giver continues to receive rewards even after his or her death.

In the context of the hereafter, waqf is an eternal investment that brings lasting rewards. With sincere intentions, waqf is not only an ongoing charity but also a symbol of love for Muslims. Therefore, giving waqf is the best step to take advantage of life in this world as a supply towards the eternal hereafter.
