Maintaining relationships with the heirs of the deceased is a noble practice recommended in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

" Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him maintain ties of kinship."

(Narrated by Al-Bukhari: 4830)

Silaturahim not only strengthens family ties and human relationships , but also honors the memories of the deceased. By maintaining this relationship, we can continue to pray and support the heirs who may still be in the process of coming to terms with the loss.

Taking the time to visit relatives, help with their needs, or simply ask for help is an easy way to show love. This act reflects the value of Islamic brotherhood which is the foundation of unity among the people.

In addition, maintaining good relationships brings blessings in life. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

" Whoever wants his sustenance to be increased and his life to be prolonged, then he should maintain the ties of kinship."

This practice is not only a Sunnah, but also an opportunity to achieve goodness in this world and the hereafter. By maintaining relationships with the heirs of the deceased, we show love to them and to the deceased, who, God willing, will be blessed by Allah SWT.
